Resizes a PNG and gives a PNG back, keeping transparency intact throughout. That matters for logos and graphics with transparent backgrounds, which would gain a white box if they were converted to JPG along the way.
PNG is lossless, so resizing down loses only the pixels you asked to remove and nothing else. For screenshots and drawings the result stays perfectly crisp.
If the file is still too large afterwards, reduce the colours with the PNG Compressor — that is what actually shrinks a PNG, since it has no quality setting.

Will transparency survive?
Yes. The output is a PNG and transparent areas stay transparent.
The file is still big after resizing.
PNG stores every pixel exactly, so it is naturally large. Use the PNG Compressor to cut the colour count, or convert to JPG if the image is a photograph and does not need transparency.
